This adorable indie app is free to play, and available on both Android and Apple devices. ABOUT:You play as an unnamed Magical Girl who has been summoned to another universe - one where her current magical powers don't work! In order to find out who summoned you, you must use your physical strength (and hit with your wand!) in order to beat the evil creatures populating this world. Along the way, you can earn (or buy) several magical powers to make the journey a little easier - or to gain more coins, which can be used to buy yet more powers and other upgrades. For what appears to be a basic pixel, arcade-style indie game, there's an impressive number of levels, genuinely difficult boss levels, and surprisingly regular updates. STATS:LANGUAGES: English or Japanese - all text, no VA.
STATUS : Complete (but regularly updated.) Can be played offline. No purchase necessary to own or complete the game. Pixi Princess was an Android and Apple app for magical girl roleplay. It was originally released in August of 2014 but was closed in November 2015. A book is planned for release in 2020. ABOUT:The game revolves around five girls - Sakurai Kokoa (Pixy Cherry), Jinguuji Nobara (Pixy Rose), Aoi Minato (Pixy Pangie), Houen Tsubasa (Pixy Camellia) and Yurizono Shiori (Pixy Lily) - who must fight to save their world from darkness. Players could control all five girls in battle, as well as participated in conversations and slice-of-life experiences as regular girls. The series was intended to have a masculine audience and thus, contained a lot of fanservice. CONTROVERSY: |
