The Notraiders soon attack, looking to take the Star Colour pens for themselves, and Hikaru discovers that she is one of the Pretty Cure - legendary warriors who use their imagination to fight evil, collect the pens, and save the Star Princesses. Hikaru is soon joined by more Precure friends, and sets off in Lala's space ship to explore the universe and save the Princesses. Along the way, they meet more foes and friends alike.
